The VCinE conference changes its location every year. Each meeting comprises a range of thematic lectures, roundtables and presentations. By means of these conferences, VCinE aims to open up a trasnational debate on visual culture studies across Europe. Inherent to its nomadic structure is the idea of rising a new visual deal between diverse geographies, while disrupting affirmative understandings of europeanness and cultural belonging.
