ANNA MARIA GUASCH

She is full time professor of History of Contemporary Art at the University of Barcelona, having taught at the Universities of Seville (1979-1983) and Complutense of Madrid (1983-1986). Since 1994 up to the present her research and teaching have been centered in the analysis of the creative processes of the international art of the second half of the 20th century with publications such as: El arte del siglo XX en sus exposiciones (1997), Los manifiestos del arte posmoderno. Textos de exposiciones 1980-1995 (Madrid, 2000), El arte último del siglo XX. Del posminimalismo a lo multicultural (Madrid, 2000 with seven editions), Crítica de Arte: Historia, Teoría y praxis (Barcelona, 2003), La crítica dialogada: entrevistas de arte y pensamiento (Murcia, 2006), Arte y globalización (Bogotá, 2004), Learning from the Bilbao Guggenheim co-edited with Joseba Zulaika (Reno, Nevada, 2005) and translated into the Castilian as Aprendiendo del Guggenheim Bilbao (Madrid, 2007).
